 Fluorene Myristate is an organic compound that is a fatty acid ester formed from fluorenic acid and myristic acid. Its molecular formula is C27H36O2, and its properties are white to light yellow solid, usually in powder form, with a waxy smell. Its heavy myristic acid (also known as myristic acid, is a saturated fatty acid. The scientific name is fluorenyl myristate (myristic acid),  It is white to yellowish white hard solid, occasionally shiny crystalline solid, or white to yellowish white powder, odorless. In nature, myristic acid exists in vegetable oils such as cardamom oil, palm oil, and coconut oil in the form of glyceride. It is mainly used as a raw material for the production of surfactants, for the production of sorbitan fatty acid esters, glycerin fatty acid esters, ethylene glycol or propylene glycol fatty acid esters, etc., and can also be used for the production of isopropyl myristate. It is also used as defoamer and flavor enhancer. According to GB2760-89, it can be used to prepare various edible spices.
